  • BrightLine Laser Dichroic Beamsplitters for Super-resolution & TIRF Microscopy

Mar 3, 2016 by IDEX Health & Science
Semrock’s industry leading laser dichroic beamsplitters just got flatter. We’re setting a new standard for Super-resolution / TIRF microscopy with λ/5 P-V RWE on our new 3 mm thick dichroics and 1λ P-V RWE on our improved 1 mm dichroics. Each one comes with our Semrock guaranteed steepest edges, short wavelength reflectivity down to 350 nm, and long wavelength transmission optimized out to 1200 nm or 1600 nm.

  • Semrock Introduces the BrightLine® Family of LED-based Light Engine Filter Sets

Aug 6, 2014 by IDEX Health & Science
LED-based light engines are steadily replacing traditional mercury, metal-halide and xenon light sources in fluorescence microscopy. As the spectral output of LED-based light sources differs from that of traditional sources, optical filter sets which were designed to take advantage of the peaks of the traditional sources, may now be sub-optimal for use with LED-based light engines. Semrock is now offering fourteen sets in single-band, full Pinkel & Sedat multiband configurations designed to be spectrally aligned with the excitation output of the most popular LED light engines on the market today.
