Through our charitable organization the IDEX Foundation, we donated over $281,000 to various organizations and causes near our facilities in 2022— and over $700,000 total since the foundation was established.   • Donations Piled Up Higher Than Ever During Company-Wide Food Insecurity Challenge

  • Life Science Optics Team Assembles 150 Comfort Bags for Cancer Patients

  • Annual Laura A. Martins Teachers Scholarship

    Prior to the construction of Middletown High School, the town utilized five one-room schoolhouse buildings: Wyatt (1700’s), Peabody (1794), Oliphant (1823), Paradise (1875), and Witherbee (1892). Each were an integral part of the Middletown school system, with Paradise and Witherbee remaining as historic sites in Middletown. They represent a bygone era of learning when schools had no electricity, bathrooms, or effective heating system. During this time, a teacher would have the responsibility of teaching all subjects to several grades of students within the schoolhouse.

  • Planting Lavender for the Environment and Painting Walls for Hope

    Our Zweibrücken team in Germany participated in two community service events. During the first event, they planted 80 lavender bushes in the city to support the many ecological initiatives in Zweibrücken. In the second event, another group of employees participated in “Painting Walls-Giving Hope"; an initiative of the Municipality of Zweibrücken, office for social services, asylum services, social field service, and furniture storage. The program paints apartments in Zweibrücken for homeless people and people seeking asylum. Employees painted two apartments, that will serve as homeless shelters.

  • IDEX Health & Science Helps Develop Future Leaders in STEM with 450 Science Kits

    IDEX Health & Science’s fluidics team in Middleboro, MA and the Chromatography Commercial Team were Packing Partners for the Science Club for Girls. A packing event was held, and employees assembled 450 STEM supply kits. A $5,000 donation was also made through the IDEX Foundation.

    IDEX Health & Science, Life Science Optics volunteers participated in three in-person events to support AutismUp. Thank you to the IDEX Foundation for the generous $29,900 donation to AutismUp, which funded new educational programs, 500 sensory bags, 24 scholarships, and bus passes for scholarship recipients.

  • IDEX Health & Science Hosts “Build A Backpack” Event for Local Youth in Need

    IDEX Health & Science Volunteers from Rochester and Lima came together to “build a backpack.” Through partnership with the Jewish Family Services: Pencils and Paper Program and a $29,000 donation from the IDEX Foundation, volunteers were able to gain the supplies needed fully outfit each bag. In total, 575 backpacks were filled with school supplies and will be outfitting every student at Roberto Clemento School #8 in Rochester.
