Here we have provided comprehensive lists of commonly asked questions regarding our online accounts, website pricing, website orders, and more. We now ship available items as soon as they’re ready. If part of your order is in stock, it will ship right away, and any remaining items will follow as they become available. After you place your order, you’ll receive an automated Order Confirmation that includes the planned ship dates for each item.
No, we are not able to ship same day orders. We strive to ship all orders within our standard product lead times.
If any item in your order is placed on back‑order, you will automatically receive a Backorder Notification. This notification will include the updated commit date for the affected product, so you’ll know when to expect it. For additional order information, please contact IHSInquiry@idexcorp.com.

When you place an order on idex-hs.com, your credit card is authorized, not immediately charged. Here’s how the process works:

Initial Authorization

  • At checkout, we authorize your credit card for:
    • Product total
    • Applicable tax
    • Estimated freight
    • Plus a 15% buffer to account for shipping or tax adjustments
  • If all items are in stock, you will typically see one authorization, which will then settle for the final charged amount.

Orders with Back‑Ordered Items

  • If your order includes back‑ordered products, you may see multiple authorizations.
  • Credit card authorizations expire after 7–10 business days.
  • When an authorization expires and items are still open on your order, a new authorization is sent that:
    • Covers all remaining open product and freight lines
    • Subtracts any already shipped (closed) items
    • Includes the 15% buffer

Partial Shipments and Additional Authorizations

  • To provide faster delivery, we now ship partial orders.
  • Back‑ordered items are released as inventory becomes available.
  • When a back‑ordered item is ready to ship and the existing authorization does not fully cover the cost:
    • A new authorization is placed for that item’s cost, tax, freight, and the 15% buffer
  • This process continues until all items on your order have shipped.

Important to Know

  • Authorizations are not charges and will drop off your statement if they expire.
  • You are only charged for items as they ship.
  • Multiple authorizations may appear, but the total amount charged will not exceed the cost of your order.
Freight charges are now calculated based on the actual weight of the products in your order and the IDEX Health & Science facility they ship from. Some orders may ship from multiple locations, therefore, you may see more than one freight charge applied at checkout.
Products will ship from the location they are manufactured. This will be shown during your order review process.
At this time freight accounts cannot be used for web orders.
Log into your account, your dashboard page will be shown. Use the menu option on the left to click “Ship To’s”. Click on the 3 dots to add new ship to address.
Yes, there is a field for an Attention To in the shipping address.
Please email IHSInquiry@idexcorp.com for any requests to update your billing address.
If an order has already shipped please notify our customer service department at IHSInquiry@idexcorp.com (please include the confirmation number). We will then process a credit for the tax charged upon receiving the tax-exempt form.
At account registration you will choose if your account is taxable or non-taxable. If non-taxable you will be required to email your exemption certificate to IHSInquiry@idexcorp.com.
We are not able to add parts to an order once the order has been submitted. Our system preauthorizes the credit card.
Yes, the account holder will receive an original invoice when the order ships via the email that was provided at account set up. You will also be able to retrieve the invoice under your account page once you are logged into the website.

Log into your webstore account, your dashboard page will be shown. This dashboard includes direct links to Orders and Invoices by clicking “View All” next to ‘Invoice History’ and ‘Recent Orders’.

*Orders placed before Jan 2023 will not be displayed.
