What is Tefzel® (ETFE)?

Tefzel (ETFE), or ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene, is a soft fluoropolymer that is good for sealing surfaces. In addition, it can be molded and extruded into a variety of products. Tefzel is extremely resistant to chemical attack; however, some chlorinated chemicals will cause a physical swelling of Tefzel tubing. Please see our Chemical Compatiblity chart.
