What is diffusion bonding?

Diffusion bonding is the process of applying pressure, temperature and time to two or more plastic substrates, causing them to weld together at a molecular level. This process is used to create complex fluidic channels into a monolithic piece of plastic that cannot be achieved via milling/drilling.
