
The IDEX Foundation challenged businesses across IDEX to collect food and donate it to their local food pantries April through June. This is the foundation’s fifth Food Insecurity Campaign. The IDEX Foundation also donated $10,000 USD to each food bank selected by each IDEX business unit—culminating in a total of $60,000 in donations from IDEX Health & Science. Over 8,500lbs of food was collected by our employees.
The Bristol site came together to support their neighbors in need, collecting a total of 375 pounds of food for the “Meal for Neighbors” program at Faith Lutheran Church in Bristol. This local initiative provides warm, nutritious meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
To further support the program’s vital mission, the IDEX Foundation contributed a generous $10,000 donation.
Our Middleboro team went above and beyond in this year’s food drive, collecting an impressive 2,359 pounds of food! These generous donations were delivered by our employees to the South Shore Community Action Council supporting families in need across the region.
In addition to the food contributions, the IDEX Foundation donated $10,000 to support their vital mission. This combined effort reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back and making a difference in the communities where we live and work.
Once again, our Oak Harbor team has set the bar high, collecting an incredible 5,175 pounds of food during this year’s drive! The donations were delivered to North Whidbey Help House, a local organization the team has proudly supported for over 30 years. IDEX Foundation contributed $10,000 donation to support the Help House’s ongoing mission of serving the community.
The Oak Harbor team organized their efforts with a weekly focus on specific items, resulting in a well-rounded collection to meet the needs of the community:
Week 1 – Canned Veggies: 585 lbs
Week 2 – Stews & Chili: 618 lbs
Week 3 – Soups: 221 lbs
Week 4 – Mac & Cheese: 1,015 lbs
Week 5 – Rice: 1,083 lbs
Week 6 – Tuna & Canned Chicken:
1,653 lbs
Our Life Science Optics team donated 310lbs of food to FoodLink, a “Rochester-based nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities by addressing both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity.” Foodlink serves as an emergency food system hub across a 10-county service area.
The IDEX Foundation also contributed a $10,000 donation directly to Foodlink.
The team at Rohnert Park came together to support their community, donating $755 and collecting 525 pounds of food for the Redwood Empire Food Bank, a vital local organization dedicated
to fighting hunger.

Our team at thinXXS in Zweibrücken, Germany showed their generosity and community spirit by collecting over 220 pounds of essential items during their recent donation drive. Contributions included non-perishable food, baby food, and sanitary
products—all vital supplies for families in need. These donations were delivered to Tafel Zweibrücken and Tafel Pirmasens, two local food banks that play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable members of the community.
The IDEX Foundation contributed a $5,000 donation to both of these local food banks.
