Employees Move Into New Center of Excellence

Last week, our IDEX Health & Science Melles Griot team members moved into the new IDEX Health & Science Center of Excellence. Our Optical Center of Excellence (COE) is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Rochester, NY. The COE will facilitate scalable future growth of optical components, optical sub-system, optical filters, lasers and other light sources. This new 100K sq. ft. building will house both manufacturing and the R&D teams from Semrock and Melles Griot Rochester.

The design of the new COE will allow us to create a world-class optical coating facility, scale-up our sub-system manufacturing space, and invest in optical design and metrology capabilities.
