VHP-3200 Series Fittings Instruction Guide

by IDEX Health & Science
  1. Slide the fitting over the tubing, ensuring a length of at least 3/16" (~5 mm) is extending beyond the tip of the fitting.
  2. Insert the fitting and tubing assembly into the receiving port, ensuring the end of the tubing is pushed completely against the bottom of the receiving port.
  3. Finger tighten the fitting into the port.

Please Note: On the initial tightening cycle, "finger tighten" is equivalent to approximately 1/2-turn, or 180º-200º, from the point where the initial tightening resistance is felt. On subsequent tightening cycles, "finger tighten" is equivalent to approximately 1/3-turn, or 120º, from the point where the initial tightening resistance is felt.

Please be careful not to over-tighten or use tools to tighten this fitting into the receiving port, as excessive tightening torque can damage the fitting and / or limit the usable lifetime of the product.
