In 2023, Rohnert Park employees participated in several volunteer days at Redwood Empire Food Bank sorting, packaging, and inspecting food for distribution. The IDEX Foundation also donated 25K, which will help support the direct expenses associated with acquiring, storing, and distributing donated and purchased food for the hundreds of distributions across their five-county service area.

"We are grateful to IDEX for their support of the Redwood Empire Food Bank over the years. The Rohnert Park team's commitment to helping us address food insecurity in our region is truly inspiring. When we experienced more people than ever attending our food distributions in 2023, the IDEX team stepped up their efforts even further. From volunteering in our warehouse and organizing food drives, to providing an incredibly generous donation—they are a true and valued partner in our mission to End Hunger in Our Community," - Nick Agius, Hunger Relief Worker, and Corporate Partnerships.

Since 1987, the Redwood Empire Food Bank has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. They distribute food through their own programs and partner organizations in Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties. As the largest hunger-relief organization in our area, they work on the front lines of food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role in helping individuals, families, seniors, and children.
