PEEKsil tubing consists of a fused silica core (glass-like, extremely smooth and inert) surrounded by a PEEK polymer jacket. This hybrid design delivers the precision of silica with the durability and flexibility of PEEK. The ultra smooth internal surface minimizes band broadening for chromatographic efficiency. The PEEK outer layer adds toughness, protecting the fragile silica core from breakage.
