ETFE
ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) tubing is known for its increased mechanical strength compared to other fluoropolymer materials (FEP, PFA, etc) making it more resistant to stress and abrasion. It has excellent chemical resistance to a broad range of acids, bases, solvents, and alcohols, but is subject to attack when used with chlorinated compounds.
Due to its mechanical strength and wide chemical compatible, ETFE is commonly found in a wide range of applications including medical, life science, and aerospace.
