IDEX Part Number: S-001668  /

Semrock

This 7-filter "Pinkel" penta-band set is designed for imaging of a sample that is simultaneously labeled with DAPI, FITC, TRITC, Cy5, and Cy7 (or other key fluorophores – see complete list above). This state-of-the-art set represents a break-through in penta-band performance, and has been optimized for popular LED-based light sources. This set has been designed to deliver significant fluorescence signal improvements for LED-based light sources compared with traditional sets designed for standard broadband light sources such as mercury or xenon arc lamps. The complete set is comprised of a penta-band beamsplitter and a penta-band emitter (these can be offered assembled in a microscope cube), plus five "no burn-out" single-band exciters that are intended to be mounted in the LED based light source, or in an exciter filter wheel or slider.

What is Pixel Shift, and how does the Semrock ZERO option help? Why Pixel Shift degrades multicolor fluorescence imaging performance, and how the ZERO™ option mitigates this for Avant and BrightLine filter sets.
Optimized – Filter set is specifically optimized for that fluorophore.
Compatible – Should result in nearly ideal performance in most situations.
Acceptable – Actual performance is dependent on specific experimental conditions.
