Our Compression Column frit assemblies are designed with frit elements that match the ID of the column tube, reducing extra-column volume and giving sharper peaks. Along with retaining packing media in the column tube, these frits also provide a degree of particle filtration preventing contamination of the packing material. These frit assemblies come in two thicknesses and two pore size ratings so you can optimize stationary phase retention and column backpressure in your specific application.
