Our Flat-Bottom Fittings couple convenience with performance, with options to effectively secure tubing of multiple outer diameters into traditional, flat-bottom receiving ports. Most of our Flat-Bottom Fittings feature the use of an external compression ferrule, which grips the outer wall of the flow path tubing while simultaneously creating a seal against the bottom surface of the receiving port. Most of our Flat-Bottom Fittings feature the use of an external compression ferrule, which grips the outer wall of the flow path tubing while simultaneously creating a seal against the bottom surface of the receiving port. Most of the ferrules are manufactured from Tefzel™ (ETFE) for excellent compatibility. Numerous options exist, allowing the connection of tubing outer diameters ranging from capillary sizes through 5/16”.
