Flow Cell Windows
Flow cells are used extensively in the biology and life sciences market segments. There are a significant number of configurations, but one important class involves sandwiching some form of gasket between functionalized glass and a window that provides both fluidic and optical access. While IDEX Health & Science, LLC designs and sells SlipStream™ flow cells based on BioGasket™ technology, we also are a leading supplier of glass flow cell windows
Common to all flow cell windows is at least one pair of holes for fluid to enter and exit the reaction chamber, although we have manufactured windows with up to 25 pairs of inlet and exit holes. Other key features of flow cell windows are as low as 5/10 scratch/dig in the optical clear aperture and tight chip specifications along all perimeters and holes.
