Air-Powered PureBlend® Drum-Mixer for CMP, Slurry, and High-Purity Chemicals

December 13, 2008: The compact and lightweight PureBlend mixer mounts easily to drums, tanks, and storage containers for rapid, low-speed blending of slurries and chemicals. Trebor created this ultrapure mixer with a patented 100% PFA or polypropylene hollow shaft and blending paddles to eliminate the contamination risk associated with coated steel shafts. The PureBlend runs on CDA (clean, dry air) or nitrogen.
The PureBlend’s low-speed blending action mixes quickly and efficiently, yet limits the potential for shear-induced slurry agglomeration. An optional built-in tachometer offers additional speed monitoring. The adjustable-length shaft and quick-mount adaptors make the PureBlend a versatile tool with storage containers of various sizes.
