More Fittings for High Temperature, High Pressure Analysis

March 18, 2008: Upchurch Scientific® has expanded the line of high-pressure polymer fingertight fitting able to withstand up to 200 °C/392 °F. Now available in both coned and flat-bottom configurations, these nut/ferrule systems made of polyketone (PK), exhibit biocompatibility comparable to PEEK™. The High Temperature Fingertight for coned ports is rated to 6,000 psi (414 bar) at 200 °C and to 12,000 psi (827 bar) at ambient temperatures, making it ideal for applications where a metal fitting is unsuitable, such as protein analysis and ion chromatography.
